Two weeks back, I was invited on a podcast to discuss my scholarly research on the Pacific Theater during WWII. I am grateful to Pete Quinones for giving me a platform to talk about American foreign policy and the international order that emerged post-1945.

This show episode is why I subscribed to your substack. There's a few reason why: military experience, an interest in Asian studies and your insight that can further my understanding of global influence.
At a personal level my father survived two aircraft carrier sinkings in the WWll Pacific. As a decedent of that experience, some understanding of the Japanese Imperial Navy called me.
As for a social media interaction, Pete and his guest speakers allow me to languish in my self loathing after making comments full of a sugary drink.
