We Need a COVID Day of Judgment

There must be a reckoning.

They want you to forget what they did. The media, academy, and political class want you to forget about the lockdowns, the church closures, the vaccine mandates, mask orders, and states of emergency.

The Raging Global Pandemic may have receded into the background as the media tries to astro-turf another World War, but no issue in our time is more important than opposing by word and deed the totalitarian biomedical security measures put in place in the wake of COVID. We cannot forget just how dramatic, how authoritarian, and how utterly inhumane the response to the virus truly was.

To take but one example of perfidy, our regime murdered some 150,000 Americans in 2020 alone as a result of their COVID response policies. The CDC’s own numbers bear this out.

3,383,729 deaths in 2020. 350,000 of those deaths were from COVID. Which means that there were, according to the CDC, 179,000 non-COVID excess deaths. Between 2018 and 2019 there were only 15,000 such deaths. In other words, there was a 1,000% increase in excess deaths in 2020 alone.

Those are overdose deaths, eldery who died of loneliness and missed medical appointments, those are suicides and murders caused by social upheaval and chaos. Dr. Fauci and co. have blood on their hands.

They must pay. If they do not, then we will face such authoritarian policies again in the very near future.

The ramifications of the lockdowns and social distancing will remain with us for the rest of our lives. The NYT reports that some 13% of American adults will continue practicing anti-COVID measures even now that the official “science” says precautions are no longer necessary. These people have been permanently damaged by our public hysteria.

Many decades from now, assuming our civilization doesn’t collapse in the meanwhile, we will discover Americans who have been “social distancing” the entire time, who live from food deliveries and Zoom jobs, and never see their families, have abandoned their friends, and have imprisoned their children in their homes. Like the isolated Japanese soldier at the end of WWII, these types will keep up the fight to the very end, their minds and souls wrecked by propaganda.

America needs justice. We need our politicians to pay for their crimes against the people. These gross violations of liberty did not save a single life and yet cost us our most precious liberties—to bodily autonomy and the right of free association.

And yet how all too quickly we forget. There is not a single mainstream political party anywhere in the West that has denounced the COVID lockdowns and insists that such measures never again be used. This makes sense. In America every single Governor, Supreme Court Justice, member of the Cabinet, and 99% of members of Congress are vaccinated against COVID. Republicans and Democrats alike march in lockstep with Dr. Fauci and Joe Biden and Gavin Newsom.

Meanwhile, only 66% of the American public is fully vaccinated—if you believe the New York Times (and you shouldn’t). The people are far more wary of the biomedical security state than their leaders. Funnily enough, Americans have expressed doubt at trusting the same ruling class that lied us into the Iraq War, mismanaged the housing market up to the 2008 Great Recession, and want to mutilate the genitals of children.

Weird.

Among the leadership class, however, there is lockstep agreement—a pernicious omen. The West needs true representative government, actual political alternatives, and a healthy dose of skepticism of labcoats and institutions. What we need, in other words, is a rebirth.

Will it come in our lifetimes? Not if we sit here and twiddle our thumbs. In a way, the regime that rules over us has never been more powerful but it is weaker too. It can no lonver command the awe and sacrifice it once did.

There is hope. There can be justice but we need to work for it. In the meanwhile, we must never forget what our rulers have done and the crimes we have committed.
