The Secret Service is a Clown Organization.
Incompetence? Malice? It is hard to tell the difference.
The men and women (especially) of the United States Secret Service (USSS) did not cover themselves in glory yesterday.
For starters, the female agents surrounding Trump completely shit the bed in the aftermath of the assassination attempt. Watching these women try to be competent is like a scene out of an SNL skit or Reno 911. All three female agents look lost: scanning around wildly; fiddling with sunglasses and clothes; and, in the case of the fat one, struggling to reholster a pistol.
The men, you will notice, are much more decisive in their actions. They don’t look like they are in a slapstick comedy.
Confidence inspiring, this is not. Just check out the chub on the chick below. There is no way that this woman is as physically capable as the men whose spot she took in order to get into the USSS.
This female was definitely an affirmative action hire.
The transcript of the assassination attempt is also revealing:
This female agent has no idea what the plan is and immediately looks for guidance from a man in order to make decisions. In moments of crisis, nature asserts itself. The presence of women on the security detail for the world’s most important political figure shows that we have actively unlearned things about human nature that our forebearers already knew. We are actively losing scientific knowledge.
Feminism was a casualty in yesterday’s shooting.
So was any belief in the competence of the federal government. It is shocking that a man armed with a rifle could climb a building in the near vicinity of the President of the United States without being neutralized. The aerial footage reveals just how unbelievable this really is.
There are only a handful of buildings in the vicinity of President Trump with a clear line of sight. The USSS should have, at minimum, had at least one or two agents on all of those roofs in the buildings to the right.
Multiple witnesses at the scene claimed to have seen the shooter on the roof and to have pointed him out to law enforcement. These witnesses note that they saw the man armed and were pointing at him for “minutes.” And yet nothing was done.
AP is now reporting that a law enforcement officer confronted the assassin on the roof but retreated:
One local police officer climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer. The officer retreated down the ladder, and Crooks quickly took a shot toward Trump, and that’s when Secret Service snipers shot him, said the officials, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.
So not only was the shooter allowed to get into position on an unmanned building within easy firing range of the President but he was seen by witnesses, confronted by law enforcement, but still managed to get multiple shots off toward the President. This is deeply concerning.
Moreover, it appears that the assassin was in the sights of both USSS snipers to Donald Trump’s flank during the shooting. This is even more striking. These men saw a man with a gun on a building near the President and moving toward him, they then watched this man point his gun at a police officer but didn’t open fire until after he’d taken the first shot?
Is it USSS protocol to allow gunmen to open fire on its protectees before doing anything?
Notice that the snipers above appear to be shocked when they hear gunshots. That is bad training and shows evidence of lax discipline. USSS agents are supposed to react instantaneously towards the sound of gunfire. Compare to the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan. You can see that the USSS agents reacted immediately and one even took a bullet for the President. This was a different country.
As an aside, my apologies for the stupid woman’s commentary over the footage. As far as I can tell Youtube does not have the footage of the assassination attempt without some low-IQ talking head blathering in the background. Youtube has been completely cuckolded by traditional media to the extent that they will delete and suppress video of historical and contemporary events that is not mediated through major news corporations and their commentary.
If we take all of the data points above and put them together we see a story of shocking incompetence playing out before us. The only other plausible explanation is that some faction within the USSS actively sought to allow the assassin to get at Trump.
It is clear that something is very wrong with our federal agencies. Even if there were a plot to kill the President by elements within the government, it does not change just how absurd and stupid so much of the response to the shooting really was.
The Director of the USSS should be fired. Same for the three female agents bumbling around in the aftermath and the counter-sniper team on top of the building that had eyes on the shooter. Without accountability we cannot have justice.
As for Trump, he should immediately gather his own private security forces, made up of talented and personally loyal men, to watch over him and his family. It is clear that the USSS cannot be trusted to do their job. Trump came less than a half inch from death yesterday.
He was spared by pure chance, or, as I believe, the direct hand of Providence. At the very least, Trump has been given a new lease on life. He would be wise to find new protectors. The same goes for all other leading Right wing politicians in America. You cannot trust your personal security into the hands of a government that both hates you and is filled with incompetent fools.
Of course you are right.
This quote gets me "The presence of women on the security detail for the world’s most important political figure shows that we have actively unlearned things about human nature that our forebearers already knew. We are actively losing scientific knowledge."
They don't even know the what a women is anymore.
The amount of apologetics and mental gymnastics around this online is astounding - that it was an incredibly hard shot to pull off so they didn’t expect it, or that the CS teams couldn’t see that roof so couldn’t have known.
On the KD course S-1 guys would easily be hitting black from the 200, standing. I could take any random 19yo SOI grad, have him make a sketch and realize there was a dead zone on that roof that needs covered. Or idk the basic intuition that any potential vantage point within 800m needs covered. And we got some epic photos but that the SS team let their principal stand up and expose himself to the crowd for multiple seconds after receiving fire, with the one guy behind Trump just awkwardly holding his arm overhead.
Yes coaching from the sidelines is easy but anyone with a minimum of experience in this domain can tell what an absolute clown show this was.
