How vapid. This commentary loses credibility with the assertion that French is a coward. The man led the charge against speech codes, volunteered to serve in a combat zone, adopted a child of color. He’s lived out a life of conviction and courage at a level you can only imagine. Stay back their behind your keyboard, disagree if you will, but realize that any intellectual relevance you seek to achieve crumbles when all you have is name calling and mean words.
First one is good, but not particularly courageous when u’ve got a safe con-inc sinecure. Second (as a JAG) but sure.
3rd - ok this one genuinely takes courage, of the same sort as BASE jumping while doing fentanyl measured by eye estimates but it’s courage nonetheless. I’ll agree with you that there’s something dispiriting about seeing people deny the courage and commitment of their enemies.
