Great essay. I was a fan of your Twitter before you got the ban again. I wrote something similar on my substack you might enjoy, from a bit of a different angle. Glad to have found you on here.

Mayorkas would be an easy target. Prosecute him for violating his oath and opening the border. Any Soros prosecutor ought to be arrested for aiding and abetting criminals. Buttigieg, Granholm, et al. as well. We are in a post-Constitutional system where power rules, not law. One can either fight back in kind or surrender, but “working within the system” isn’t possible - it refers to an old system that is long gone.

This plan involves GOP men with a spine

This isn’t a Republican vs. Democrat issue , of course. But some red state AGs do seem hostile to the uniparty. Regardless, yes, that’s the “eternal vigilance” we were supposed to be applying.

In many respects I agree. I would not say that the Constitution is finished; the constitutional order certainly is, though. We are on the verge of fully institutionalizing a Soviet-style legal system in which the desires of the politically powerful determine guilt or innocence, rather than objective law and objective evidence. Once this is fully institutionalized America will be completely lost. If there are some principled and courageous red state AGs, they should arrest, jail, and prosecute Biden administration officials such as Mayorkas or Buttigieg whenever they can. If there’s no penalty for the progressive elites when they flout the Constitution, they certainly won’t stop.

I agree. If the Right had a spine they would be doing to Democrats what the liberals are doing now to Trump. Two can play this game.

DeSantis should immediately start arresting and indicting leading Democrats in Florida. Make it clear that there are consequences to political warfare.
